Sega Sammy Holdings' latest earnings report for 2022 reveals what the company has achieved in the past period. It turns out that the Persona series has already sold over 15.5 million copies worldwide.

On the other hand, the company indicated in its report that these sales include all parts of the Persona series. But in particular, sales increased due to Pachislot and Pachinko machines, as well as digital titles, etc. The game also managed to sell more than 500,000 copies than the sales of the last fiscal year.

This series was developed by Studio Atlas and is wholly owned by SEGA. The series has gained great popularity in the gaming world and has become known for its Japanese fan base. Recently, some parts have been released on Xbox, through the Xbox Game Pass service.

The biggest credit went to Persona titles in its fifth part, which branched into several subparts and sold about 7.22 million copies of the series' total sales.

The gaming community is still eagerly waiting for Sega to break its silence and announce a new sequel outside of the familiar quintet. We don't know if the Atlas team will continue working on the series, but there are rumors that he is stepping down.
