The team at BioWare is back with Dragon Age: The Veilguard, codenamed Dreadwolf. After recently revealing their preview of the game, we've gotten some new information.

The release of Dragon Age 4, or what is now officially known as Dragon Age: The Veilguard, has seen a huge divide among players and even critics.

Initially, the first demo that appeared during the recent Xbox event faced a wave of dissatisfaction, which led the developers to re-present the game and highlight the gameplay in depth in a presentation longer than 20 minutes. Fortunately, the new demo received a very positive reception from fans. The series at first, but things quickly took a different and unexpected turn on the second day after the launch of the new program!

But game designer Corinne Busche recently stated that those expecting the game and its gameplay to have action elements like those found in Mass Effect will be disappointed.

What the developer means here is that he wants the player not to expect to see a project similar in mechanics to the Mass Effect games because the two projects are completely different, as he continued on the RPG's website:

I really consider Mass Effect an ARPG. “And it’s a great action game, but with DA4 it’s almost the exact opposite.”

The game does not yet have a specific release date and more details about it are expected to be revealed later this year.
