The actor who plays the main character Cal in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has shared some information about the story. He said that it will be much darker and deeper than the previous part, which was released in 2019.

The events of the Jedi series take place in a dark and gloomy period in the Star Wars universe. Where almost all the Jedi were exterminated, while the few survivors who left the fight for fear of the brutality of the Empire were tracked down. Despite the difficulties that “Cal Kestis” the hero of the game faced in the first part, the second part, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, will be deeper, darker and more complex than the previous part.

Actor Cameron Monaghan, who plays Cal, spoke about the events of the game in a recent interview with Game Informer. He said that Survivor will tell a deeper story and explained that one of the main pillars of the sequel is trying to push the character to the breaking point.

If we think a little about his statements, we will find them really interesting. For example, let's look at the character's form. We will see that he has grown in the work and his features are completely different from the previous part. This is due to the experience and the harsh conditions that his character has been exposed to and will be exposed to in the upcoming game. Here is what the actor had to say:

We have a really interesting story with Cal facing difficult challenges. It’s something I’ve always wanted to explore with the character. It was a conversation we had right after the first game, how do we put this character in difficult situations and what situations are really going to push him to the point where he might break? How do we get to that point? And what do we do from there? What story would be the most exciting, because we could still find the adventure, but also find something deeper, darker and more complex.

The game will officially launch on PS5, Xbox Series and PC on March 17. In addition, yesterday the requirements to run the game on PC were revealed, and you can follow them here.
