Capcom is considering a new story to revive the Mega Man series.

During a recent meeting with its investors, Capcom announced that it will revive the classic Mega Man series, but it may take some time. This announcement reassured fans of the series about the future of this beautiful title.

The Mega Man series was Capcom's first title to be released on home consoles, the series is still of great importance to the publisher, and the company has no real interest in accelerating the release of new products in the series to maximize sales, although Capcom wants to eventually reach 100 million game sales annually, the company still wants to be careful with its well-known platform series.

At a recent investor meeting, Capcom management held a Q&A session about the future of their business. Investors were curious to know where Mega Man's future lies, so the question was:

Will we see another big release? What are your plans for the Mega Man series? Including Mega Man 11, the final installment in the series. Capcom responded:

“Mega Man is one of Capcom’s historic titles and is beloved by fans, and as such, we want to take care of how we develop the series. We are studying how to approach the production of new titles in the series, which requires many factors, including developing a strong concept, ideas, gameplay, and more.”
