eFootball 2023 Update 2.3.0

The eFootball 2023 v2.3.0 update will bring fixes to the game system across all different platforms, which will be as follows:

dribble

  • Adjustments have been made to make players less likely to run away from the ball when making contact with an opponent while dribbling.
  • Modifications have been implemented to improve maneuverability after a quick tap.
  • Changes have been made to body contact so that the shield is only activated when a certain distance away from the opposing player.
  • Changes have been made so that when a Touch Ball command is input in addition to a Shield command during contested ball situations, the Touch Ball input will now take priority and the incidence of loss of possession due to the Shield command being given priority will now be reduced.

raisin

  • When the scroll command is input, a more appropriate target will be set for direction input and power meter input.
  • Adjustments were implemented so that passes could be executed in spaces that were difficult for defenders to intercept, in relation to the positioning and direction of movement of opposing players.
  • Adjustments have been made so that when a player makes body contact with another player while jumping for a headshot, the player is less likely to lose balance.

Reserve the ball

  • Modifications have been implemented so that players now move into a proper position in preparation for receiving high balls more quickly.
  • In scenarios where a directional input is executed simultaneously with an accidental command just before a player locks onto the ball, the directional switch input may be registered as the direction of contacting the ball rather than the direction the ball is moving, causing the player to make an unnecessary turn.

Defense

  • Changes have been made to the launch conditions for interceptions when defending incoming shots or crosses.
  • Adjustments have been made to the marking of other players so that a player can now position himself more appropriately in relation to the position of the opposing ball carrier.
  • Adjustments have been made to player positions during a match.

errors

  • Fixed an issue with offside decisions where if a foul was committed immediately after the offside as a result of body contact, the next foul would be brought forward and then the foul would be called instead of the offside.
  • Fixed an issue with erroneous rulings where a foul could be called if the first player on the ball made light contact with an opponent that should not constitute a foul.

artificial intelligence

  • Fixed an issue with matches against AI where movements made in defensive scenarios by the AI-controlled team could sometimes be abnormal.
  • Fixed an issue where players with the “Anchor Man” playstyle could unnaturally position themselves in the opposing team’s half during attacking scenarios, even if all opposing players were back in their own half.
  • Fixed an issue where 'Anchor Man' players could chase the opponent's ball carrier to an outpost during defensive scenarios.
  • Modifications have been implemented to cause 'Track Back' players to move into wider positions in an attempt to regain possession during defensive scenarios.

These are the most important improvements and fixes that eFootball 2023 update #2.3.0 brings to the game today on all platforms, while you can see more details on the game's official website here.
