The gaming community was very excited to get their hands on God of War Ragnarok, as we can see from the latest statistics. It turns out that 25% of that community dropped out of the game after just two weeks of its release.

God of War Ragnarok sold over 5.1 million copies worldwide in its first week alone. But the rewards showed that some players did beat the game. Specifically, 24.8% of fans completed the main story.

The achievement data showed that most players don't finish their games, but it's such a strong finding for Sony and Santa Monica that the gaming community abandons a game just two weeks after launch.

This number is likely to increase over time, as Ragnarok is a relatively long game. As many players take longer to see Kratos' new adventure, it is worth noting that only 3.9% of players managed to unlock the Platinum Trophy in the game. Anyway, it is not difficult as an achievement, but any of those from the part that was released in 2018.
