Far Cry 7 leaks have begun to spread across the internet after multiple sources confirmed it was in development. A new source claims that Ubisoft has postponed the game's reveal after it was originally scheduled for release this June.
Last week, Insider Gaming, which has its own sources, confirmed that Far Cry 7 is in early development. And now a new source from ComicBook.com is getting back to us to say that the game's reveal was slightly delayed from what was originally planned.
We know that Ubisoft's system with the series requires the release of a new installment every three years. And since the aforementioned source confirmed that the game will be released sometime in 2024, this could mean their leaks are correct.
The company had planned to reveal the game at the upcoming E3 expo, having already confirmed its presence in the next installment. Instead, Ubisoft chose this fall to reveal and announce the game. We also learned that the next installment in the series will focus heavily on online elements.
Ubisoft has been facing serious problems recently, announcing the cancellation of numerous projects and ceasing support for many recently released games. However, it explained the reasons for these delays and cancellations by saying it wanted to make room for larger titles in the future.
In other news, the company confirmed that its upcoming game, Skull & Bones, has an updated version that has not yet been reviewed. For more details, you can visit this link.
